Title: Director of Product Marketing
Type: Direct Hire
Location: Hybrid, Downtown Denver (3 days onsite)
Pay: $150,000-$180,000 + 20% bonus
Position Overview
We are seeking a Director of Product Marketing to define how a growing portfolio of software solutions is positioned and communicated to the market. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this leader will oversee product positioning, portfolio messaging, go-to-market execution, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement.
This role will transform a complex, multi-product offering into a clear and differentiated market story. The Director will also translate platform advancements and emerging AI capabilities into compelling value propositions that help Sales and Customer Success attract, retain, and expand customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop differentiated positioning and messaging across a portfolio of software products.
* Create a unified product narrative as multiple solutions evolve into an integrated platform.
* Translate product strategy, platform investments, and AI capabilities into clear customer-facing stories.
* Lead go-to-market planning for new products, features, and major platform releases.
* Build launch strategies designed to increase adoption, retention, and revenue.
* Partner with Demand Generation and Sales to align campaigns, content, and enablement with product priorities.
* Establish measurable launch plans with defined objectives, success metrics, ownership, and timelines.
* Lead customer research, market analysis, win/loss interviews, and competitive monitoring.
* Track established competitors, emerging challengers, and changing market trends.
* Turn market findings into actionable recommendations for Product, Sales, and executive leadership.
* Provide Sales and Customer Success with battlecards, competitive playbooks, training, and timely market guidance.
* Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing product marketing team as the function grows.
* Build a team culture centered on customer understanding, analytical rigor, urgency, and accountability.
* Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to align commercial execution with the product roadmap.
* Represent customer needs and market perspectives during product planning and executive discussions.
Required Qualifications
* 10+ years of product marketing experience, including B2B SaaS products serving small and midsize customers.
* 3+ years of experience leading or managing product marketing professionals.
* Proven success positioning and launching multi-product portfolios or integrated software platforms.
* Demonstrated ability to use go-to-market strategy to improve adoption, retention, and revenue performance.
* Strong experience with competitive positioning, messaging development, sales enablement, and customer research.
* Proven ability to partner effectively across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
* Ability to simplify complex technology and communicate its value clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
* Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
* Bachelor's degree.

* Experience helping consolidate or reposition multiple products under a unified platform strategy.
* MBA or equivalent advanced business experience.
